| OBJECTIVE: |
Develop greater self-confidence when communicating in different work situations such as, on the telephone, during video-conference calls, in correspondence, when receiving visitors. |

| DESCRIPTION: |
Practical sessions (“learning by doing”), where linguistic theory is applied in the form of simulations and role-plays. Sessions include video camera recordings and subsequent feedback. |

- Opening a call
- Filtering phone calls
- Leaving and taking messages
- Asking for and offering clarifications
- Setting up video-conference calls
- Writing letters, faxes, emails
- Making arrangements
- Meeting clients
- Giving information

| DURATION: |
Minimum of 5 hours, preferably split into two sessions of 2.5 hrs. |
| PARTICIPANTS: |
Maximum of 8 participants per group, with a similar level (from intermediate level upwards – level 4/5 on our scale). |
| TRAINERS: |
Native and fully qualified ICL trainers, all experts in language teaching and aware of the urgency and problems arising from the situation. |
