In the globalised world of companies, the confidence to take part in international projects depends on real and effective communication taking place. However, achieving effective communication is not just a question of speaking the same language.

For this reason, on our courses we train participants to become more aware of their own cultural norms and those of other cultures. The aim of this training is to be able to analyse and differentiate between cultural generalisations and unhealthy stereotypes.

We work with course participants on the cultural aspects and nuances which can facilitate effective communication, both in non-verbal aspects and different forms of behaviour. Included in the programme are customs and usages in a business and social context, which would be typically be encountered when dealing with foreign counterparts. This knowledge is hhhoften fundamental in avoiding cultural misunderstandings which can cause a negotiation and/or a long term project to fail, and in equipping you to work effectively on an international team.
